Something I'd really like to see on the BMW Control is a more immediate media controller. For instance, the blank space on the left option list in the HUD could, when selected, go to a page that plays/pauses with a long click right, skips to the next track with a short click right and skips to the previous with a short click left. Leaving this page could take a long click left and rolling forwards or backwards could increase or decrease the volume. This would be quicker and easier to access than the existing system. Maybe the buttons could open the media app in use?

@carpe-admin I'd second John's suggestions 😀

Hello,

What is planned for the buttons, apart from moving the map?

What I could very well imagine would be if, for example, you have to wait at a level crossing, the machine switches off and the BMW Multicontroller no longer works,  you can still work in the navigation app.

In addition to the current move functions, the following could be added with a long press:

Button A - Enter

Button B - Zoom In

Button C - Zoom Out

Button D - ESC/Back

Hm. I would propose to keep ignition on and wonderwheel active

When I have to stop at a traffic light, I usually switch off the engine using the kill switch. Ignition still is on and I could restart the engine within a second. Therefor also the wonderwheel stays active. For my point of view this is the best practical way reducing air pollution and also avoiding too much time for the restart.
