After the latest update, it does not work to long press the enter button to change the rotation of the map. When I press the button the rotation changes for a second and then goes back. The function works as it should with the phone's touch screen.
I have a Samsung s22 and Locus Classic.
S22 is one of our testing devices, although truth be told we are no longer testing on Classic as it's not been maintained for years and you are likely to be one few remaining users. Did you try on free version of Locus Map 4? If you have same issue there, try switching back to stock samsung keyboard for the case you changed it (on 4 we cannot replicate the issue). In case it does work on v4, please report the issue to Locus
I have also tried in v4 with the same falure. I have the Samsung keyboard installed. I have setting to move the cursor 1/4 down enabled to clearly see the error. It works to activate rotation with a long press. It is when you should deactivate the rotation. Then the autorotation is automatically switched on after one second
Sorry guys, but I can't replicate your issues. Tested both Classic and 4. Both map centering and map rotation work. Maybe check Locus app settings. I suppose manually changing the auto centering feature would play a role. I suppose you did check that the Carpe accessibility service is running and that you are using the latest Controller app version?
P.s. you are NOT supposed to select Carpe controller as input method in Locus (just mentioning for the case you did). I need to talk to Locus guys to finally remove it (no special settings in Locus are required for proper controller operation)
Thanks for your help. I create a case with the Locus team. Sharing two links that show what's going on. And I really like what the controller can do. Especially the switching between different maps.
