Hello Jan,
After reviving my CIPad v3 and installing all the latest sw updates, it does not connect to the ADV-Controller, neither through the Controller-app, nor through the standard Android Bluetooth connection tool. In both cases I only get the message that the PIN in not correct.
No other device is connected to the CIPad; I have debonded the previously connected 1st gen controller via the standard Android Bluetooth connection method.

Problem solved:
I have reset all connections in the Android systems menue (not only in the Bloetooth menue), and restarted the CIPad. Afterwards the Controller app was able to connect the ADV controller.
